A Message from Thomas Cook
It has always been my dream to give back to the world music that would touch the hearts of many. In 2007, I was honored to be invited to the Transformational Leadership Council (TLC) Conference. I was introduced to the TLC members, consisting of the world’s greatest motivational authors and speakers.
It was then I shared with them my idea to produce an album combining for the first time the words of the motivational authors and my music. Inspired by their greatest quotes, I proposed the world’s first great motivational album.
Almost one year later, the dream has come to reality. It was my honor to work together with one of the all-time great pianists, Mr. Marvin Goldstein. During our time together creating this album, I would listen to the quotes and then sing a song to Marvin, and behold, the songs came to life. Marvin’s gift and talent was to be able to put the spirit of my words and melodies into the piano, and together we made some magic.
Special thanks to Nicole Wild and Linda Peterson. Without their support and friendship, this dream could never have come true. I thank you both for your love and kindness.
Join us for an unbelievable adventure through music and words, meant to inspire you every morning, noon and night to know your true gift is within you. Thank you, all of you, who helped, created, and financed The Gift of Words and Music, making this album a reality. May our journeys take us to many places … may our paths cross … and may you always remember you are loved!
